3 Youths Arrested In Burglary Cases In Berhampur

Berhampur: Police on Wednesday arrested three youths for their alleged involvement in house burglaries in several parts of the city.

Additional SP, Berhampur said the arrested persons were involved in a theft from a cement shop at Giri Road and a mobile shop at Goilundi both in last month and six more such cases.

Police have seized Rs 2.08 lakh in cash, one Apple I-Phone and one Lenovo laptop along with some house breaking implements from them.

They have been identified as SK Asif (19) of Purnabasi Colony, G Santosh Kumar (20) of House Board Colony and Babula Nayak (19) of Minakhi Nagar, all in Berhampur.

They were forwarded to the court and further investigation into other cases is on.
