Bhubaneswar: Around 30% of beds in COVID Hospitals in the city are occupied at present with more than 100 ICUs lying vacant.
Stating this at a press meet on Wednesday, Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Prem Chandra Chaudhary said patients from neighbouring districts and across the state are being treated in Bhubaneswar.
Stating that home isolation is around 75% of total active cases, he said 1500 to 1600 people are in home isolation. As of now, 1443 persons have consumed Favipiravir and 30 to 40 people are being administered this drug daily.
As many as 23 UPHC (Urban Primary Health Centre) and UCHC (Urban Community Health Centre) and special camps are providing COVID-19 testing facilities along with mobile van.
