Gajapati: Nearly 30 passengers were injured, some critically, when the bus in which they were travelling overturned at Sebakpur village under Rayagada in Gajapati district on Tuesday morning. The accident took place at 2.45 am on Tuesday.
Five of the injured were reported to be critical. All the injured have been admitted to Paralakhemundi hospital.
The passengers, belonging to Balipadara village under Polasara in Ganjam district, were going to Paralakhemundi to attend a marriage function.
Police said that the driver probably lost control of the vehicle. An investigation is on. There was heavy fog when the accident took place.
