30 Injured In Bus-Truck Collision On Hilly Road In Odisha’s Boudh

Boudh: Over 30 people were injured, several of them critically, in a collision between a passenger bus and a truck on a hilly road in Odisha’s Boudh district on Monday.

As per preliminary reports, the mishap took place on Ranipadar ghat when the bus was reportedly proceeding to Phulbani from Boudh. As the bus was involved in a head-on collision with the truck, many of the passengers sustained injuries.

On being informed, fire services and police soon reached the spot and launched a rescue operation.

Several injured passengers, some in critical condition, were reportedly rescued and rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment.

As per reports, some passengers were still suspected to have been trapped inside the bus and efforts are on to pull them out of the vehicle. Further details are awaited.
