Balangir: Around 30 students of a government school fell ill allegedly after consuming mid-day meal (MDM) in Muribahal area of Odisha’s Balangir district on Saturday.
As per preliminary information, over 30 students of the Government Project UP School at Dengapadar under Muribahal block of the district fell ill eating the food.
The students complained of vomiting, nausea and stomach ache after eating the food served in the school.
The affected students were immediately rushed to the Sub-Divisional Hospital in Titlagarh for treatment, sources said. The condition of the students was stated to be stable and they are being provided with necessary medical treatment.
