30 Suspected Dead As 2 Express Trains Collide In Odisha’s Balasore

Bhubaneswar: At least 30 persons were suspected to have died in the collision between two Express trains near Bahanaga station in Odisha’s Balasore district on Friday evening.

The South Eastern Railway (SER) sources have confirmed that 30 persons were killed in the major accident.

According to latest report, the accident involved two trains Howrah-Chennai Coromandel Superfast and Bengaluru-Howrah Express.

First, Coromandel Superfast derailed at the station and some time after, Bengaluru-Howrah collided with the Coromandel Express train.

Earlier, it was reported that Coromandel had collided with a stationary goods train.
