Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officers SK Lohani, Saswat Mishra and Arvind Agarwal on Friday reviewed the facilities at COVID-19 test centres at Bhimatangi Government UP School, Red Cross Training Centre, Unit-IV, and Government Primary School at BJB Nagar in presence of ZDC South East Zone, Ansuman Rath, and other officers of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
As many as 100 families in each of the areas would be tested for the virus, BMC sources said.
The Odisha government on Tuesday had tasked six top IAS officers to formulate a policy to contain coronavirus from spreading in Bhubaneswar, which has so far reported 46 of the total 60 positive cases in the state.
Among them, SK Lohani and Saswat Mishra were assigned to oversee the containment activities in South East Zone in the capital city.
Ranjan Chopra and Bishnupada Sethi have been appointed for North Zone and Ashok Meena and Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma for South West Zone in Bhubaneswar.
