Bhubaneswar: Home Ministry on Saturday granted permission for opening of schools to facilitate evaluation of answer sheets of CBSE Board examination.
Union Minister for HRD Ramesh Pokhriyal said 3,000 CBSE affiliated schools have been identified as assessment centers across India for evaluation work.
However, the special permission has been granted to these schools only for evaluation of answer sheets of the candidates of CBSE Board examination.
The Minister hoped that this will help evaluate the 1.5 crore answer sheets quickly. The results will be declared after the remaining board examinations scheduled between July 1 and 15 have been conducted, he said.
