316 New COVID Positive Cases Reported In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The capital city registered 316 COVID positive cases in the last 24 hours pushing the total caseload to 93,707.

Bhubaneswar had reported 314 new cases on Saturday. Of the new cases detected on Sunday, 67 were from quarantine and 249 were local contacts, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated in its tweet.

Of the local contact cases, Khandagiri registered highest 23, followed by Niladri Vihar (13), Patia (12), Patrapada (11) and Nayapalli (10).

The city logged 339 recoveries while there are 1,157 active cases. The number of deceased has touched 511 with 8 more deaths registered in the city during the period.

Till today, 92,018 patients have recovered from the virus.
