Bhubaneswar: A total of 1.76 lakh students appeared for the JEE (Advanced) test 2019 that began across the country on Monday.
From Odisha, 3161 students are appearing for the test at centres in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela and Berhampur.
The test will be held in two sittings. While the test for paper-I will be held from 9 am to 12 pm, the test for the paper-II will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. As decided, the physically challenged students will be allowed one-hour extra time.
The rank card will be uploaded on the JEE website on June 14. The rank cards will not be sent individually to the students.
The test is conducted in the computer-based mode by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB) for admission across 23 Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and nine other premium institutes including IIPE Visakhapatnam, IISER Bhopal, IISER Kolkata, IISER Pune, IISC Bangalore, IISER Mohali, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, RGIPT Rae Bareli and IIST Thiruvananthapuram).
