Bhubaneswar: Khurda district that reported highest COVID-19 positive cases on Thursday also topped the recovery table as 3278 more patients were discharged from hospitals across the state on Thursday.
While 511 patients from Khurda recovered from the disease, there were 368 recuperated cases from Ganjam, 230 from Cuttack, 195 from Jajpur, 187 from Rayagada, 185 from Bargarh, 124 from Balasore, 122 from Puri, 121 from Nayagarh, 117 each from Malkangiri and Mayurbhanj, 107 from Koraput and 104 from Sundargarh.
According to Health and Family Welfare department, 98 recovered cases were reported from Bhadrak, 89 from Jharsuguda, 88 from Kandhamal, 77 from Jagatsinghpur, 69 from Keonjhar, 67 from Sambalpur, 66 from Dhenkanal, 47 from Nabarangpur, 43 from Gajapati, 35 from Kendrapada, 25 from Nuapada, 24 from Balangir, 24 from Kalahandi, 23 from Sonepur, 8 from Boudh, 5 from Deogarh and 2 from Anugul district.
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in Odisha have gone up to 87351 while COVID-19 positive cases crossed 1.13 lakh with Khurda reporting maximum 722.
