335 New COVID-19 Positive Cases In Odisha’s Cuttack City

Cuttack: As many as 335 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from different parts of the city on Sunday.

Of the new cases, 93 were detected in institutional quarantine centres and 113 in home quarantine, while 129 were local contacts, according to Cuttack Municipal Corporation.

The institutional quarantine cases included 6 “Corona Warriors”. Of the positive cases reported from home quarantine, 7 belonged to Bidanasi and 6 each to CDA, Samanta Sahi and Naybazar.

Those who contracted the disease through local contacts included 10 from Jagatpur and 5 from Nayabazar.

With the day’s new positive patients, the number of total affected persons went up to 9655 in the city. While 7209 patients have recovered, 40 have succumbed to the disease. There are 2406 active cases in the Silver City at present.
