Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Bhubaneswar on Sunday touched 1182 on Sunday with 52 more persons testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Among them, 18 are local contact cases while 34 are quarantine cases.
Eight patients of Saheed Nagar are linked to a single positive case. Similarly, eight employees of a private hospital contracted the virus from a previous patient.

“Further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts and nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised and these will be under active surveillance,” the post on Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Twitter handle said.
On the other hand, 29 more patients have been cured of the infection.
With 11 deaths and 523 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 646 active cases.
