Bhubaneswar: As many as 3404 patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals on Friday.
Of the day’s recovery cases, 602 were from Khurda, 374 from Cuttack, 289 from Puri, 148 from Balasore, 130 each from Mayurbhanj and Sambalpur, 116 from Keonjhar, 107 from Bargarh and 106 from Jajpur, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 98 recoveries in Kendrapada district, 92 in Bhadrak, 90 in Jagatsinghpur, 86 in Jharsuguda, 83 in Angul, 77 in Nuapada, 74 in Nayagarh, 72 in Kalahandi, 71 in Kandhamal, 70 each in Balangir and Dhenkanal, 66 in Sundargarh, 52 in Koraput, 50 in Nabarangpur, 48 each in Ganjam and Sonepur, 38 in Malkangiri, 22 in Boudh, 18 in Gajapati, 11 in Deogarh and 2 in Rayagada. Besides, there were 164 recovered cases from State Pool.
With the day’s addition, the total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 2,20,388 while the number of positive cases has gone up to 2,46,839 with 2697 new cases reported overnight.
