Bhubaneswar: The capital city registered 341 new COVID positives in the last 24 hours pushing the aggregate caseload to 90,563.
Bhubaneswar had reported 417 new cases on Wednesday.
Of the new cases, 59 are from quarantine and 282 are local contacts, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation stated in its tweet.
Patia reported the highest of 20 cases, followed by 15 each in Patrapada and Khandagiri, while 11 cases were from IRC Village and 10 from Mancheswar.
Five more patients have succumbed to the disease in the city in the last 24 hours and taking the cumulative toll to 455.
As many as 363 patients have recovered from the infection while the city has 1,320 active cases.
Till now, 88,767 have recovered from the virus.
