Bhubaneswar: A total of 344 candidates have filed their nomination papers for the second phase polls in Odisha scheduled on April 18.
While 45 candidates have filed nominations for five Lok Sabha seats, 299 have filed nominations for 35 Assembly seats.
Meanwhile, during the verification of nomination papers for the first phase polls on Tuesday, out of 30 nomination papers filed for four Lok Sabha seats, 28 have been found to be valid while out of the 245 nomination papers for 28 Assembly seats, 203 nominations have been found valid.
