39 Odisha Policemen Selected For President’s Police Medal

Bhubaneswar: The Ministry of Home Affairs has selected 39 policemen from Odisha for the President’s Police Medal for the year 2019.

Of the 39 policemen, two policemen have been selected for Distinguished Service, 26 for Gallantry and 11 for Meritorious Service.

However, no policeman of the state has been selected for the President’s Police Medal For Gallantry.

The selected policemen will be conferred with the medal at the Republic Day celebration in New Delhi on Saturday.
