Bhubaneswar: The health infrastructure in Odisha is being strengthened for a possible third wave of COVID, Director, Health and Family Welfare, Bijay Panigrahi informed on Monday.
“Since it is likely to affect 15 per cent of the children, the state government has kept its manpower and machinery ready,” he said.
He said that training of all frontline workers, ASHA and Anganwadi workers has been completed “Online training of those to be engaged in the treatment of children will begin today in batches of six each,” he maintained.
