Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Police seized nearly 4.5 kg of heroin worth about Rs 4.5 crore from three persons in Rasulgarh area in Bhubaneswar. The three persons have been arrested.
This is the biggest ever haul by the STF in a day in the state. The STF has seized 12.25 kg of heroin and detected 19 cases against the drug peddlers this year. As many as 39 drug peddlers have also been arrested so far.
All the three persons arrested on Friday belong to Balasore district. They are Debasish Behera of Narasinghpur, Sk Kausar Ali of Gopalgaon and Prabir Kumar Singh.
