4 Actors ‘Insecure’ After Ahaan Panday’s Debut, Claims Komal Nahta

Mumbai: After the release of his debut Bollywood film, ‘Saiyaara’, star kid Ahaan Panday has become the talk of the town and is touted as the next superstar.

While Ahaan is basking in the success of his debut film, trade analyst Komal Nahta claimed that four actors have become insecure of the newcomer.

“One actor, with more than 40 films to his credit, actually told his colleague that he was finding it difficult to get even his forty winks, leave alone a good night’s sleep,” Nahta wrote in an article.

The article further mentioned, “Another relatively newer hero is said to be ringing up his current producers to find out whether the advance booking is genuine or not.”

As for the third hero, the report stated, “A third hero is busy spreading stories that he is privy to inside information that the advance booking figures are being hyped by the producer of the film.”

While mentioning about the fourth hero, the report claimed, “almost 20 films to his credit, simply can’t concentrate on his shooting as he is asking all and sundry whether the hype around Saiyaara is for real”.

As Nahta’s article resurfaced on Reddit, netizens tried to guess the actors being hinted at.

One comment read, “Shahid, Varun and Kartik?”

Another mentioned, “Has to be Ibrahim. Veer has no chance, and I hope he knows it. Junaid and Vedang seem pretty chill.”

While referring to Ibrahim Ali Khan, one suer wrote, “Imagine being born to Bollywood and cricket royalty (and an actual royal family) only to get mogged by checks notes Chikki Panday’s son. I’d be pissed too if I were him lol.”

One comment read, “40+ films – Saif or John (Shahid doesn’t cross the number of 40 movies). Ringing producers- maybe Varun. It has to be Kartik, lord of the PR.”

Someone else wrote, “Everyone else makes sense…but who is 40-plus movie actor feeling insecure with Ahaan? Abhishek Bachchan?”

‘Saiyaara’ has collected nearly Rs 20 crore till now. The film outperformed the Day 1 collections of ‘Murder 2’ (Rs 6.95 crore), ‘Aashiqui 2’ (Rs 6.10 crore), and ‘Half Girlfriend’ (Rs 10.30 crore).
