They are V Narasingh, Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Biraja Prasanna Satapathy and Raman Murahari.
The Collegium approved the proposal for the elevation of these advocates at its meeting on January 29, an official statement said.
The number of judges in the high court in Odisha’s Cuttack city will go up to 21 if the collegium’s recommendation is accepted by the Centre.
In total, it has recommended the appointment of Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari as Chief Justice of the Madras High Court and 17 names as judges in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Orissa high courts.
Justice Bhandari, whose parent high court is Rajasthan HC, is serving as the Acting Chief Justice of Madras High Court.
