Bhubaneswar: Ganjam police on Monday busted an IPL betting racket in Aska and arrested four persons for indulging in the illegal practice.
Acting on tip-off, local police raided an area near Subarneswar temple in Aska and busted the betting racket. While four persons were nabbed from the spot, six other gamblers managed to flee.
Police also seized Rs 7.6 lakh cash and six mobile phones from their possession.
The IPL cricket season concluded on Sunday with debutants Gujarat Titans beating Rajasthan Royals to lift the cup.
