Cuttack: Four youths sustained critical injuries after locals beat them up mercilessly at Baula Square in Bidanasi of Cuttack district on the suspicion of cattle theft on Monday.
According to sources, the youths entered Bidanasi on Sunday night in a four wheeler.
Suspecting them to be cattle thieves, some locals caught hold of them. They beat them black and blue and later burnt their vehicle.
The injured youths have been admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital here in a critical condition.
