Rayagada: A swarm of bees stung four labourers leaving them critically injured in Rayagada district on Sunday.
The incident occurred on NH-326 near Gumma Ghati on the Rayagada-Koraput road.
The victims have been identified as Pradip Biswakarma (42), Pankaj Kumar (28), Rajesh Kumar (20) and Mahensu Kumar (20). They belong to Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
According to sources the incident happened when they were engaged in railing work along the road. They were admitted to Rayagada district headquarters hospital in a critical condition.
After the primary treatment, their conditions is stated to stable now, said the doctor.
