Puri: The 13th National Theatre Festival is all set to kick start at Purna Rangamanch at Odisha’s Puri town from Wednesday.
The four-day festival being organised under the auspices of leading cultural organisation Rangashala will see performance by a theatre group from Assam and three from Odisha.
Addressing a presser at Puri on Tuesday, president of Rangashala Girish Nayak said that four plays will be staged during the four-day festival.
He added that Debananda Nayak will be honoured with Natya Sanjivani Byomkesh Samman while others like Laxmidhar Mishra, Prasanna Mishra, Banchhanidhi Pattnaik, Panchanan Das, Satya Das, Jitendra Mohanty, Biswanth Mishra and Manorama Mohanty will be feted with Rangasala Samman for their contribution to theatre.
