Jagatsinghpur: Police have rescued four missing girls, including three minors, from a plastic company at Choudwar in Cuttack district.
Those rescued hail from Tahanra village of Tirtol in the district.
Basing on a complaint lodged by the victims’ family members on Friday, police managed to locate them on Saturday night after tracing their cell phones. Alleging that they were abducted by someone, the families have demanded a thorough inquiry and arrest of those involved.
All four girls, including three sisters, left their house following a quarrel with their grandfather over some issue. Later, one Prakash Mallick from Kulasahi village assured the girls of getting them employed at a plastic company, reports said.
