4 More Odisha Govt Officials Sent On Compulsory Retirement; Know Reasons Here

Bhubaneswar: The state government on Tuesday issued compulsory retirement notice to four of its officials on the grounds of corruption and dereliction of duty.

According to official sources, the officials include two OAS officers, one district sub-registrar, and a former chief district veterinary officer.

One of the officials, deputy collector of Angul Janakinath Mishra has been asked to go on compulsory retirement as he is facing two corruption cases and 9 official proceedings, the sources said.

Similarly, Nuagarh tehsildar of Gajapati district Akul Mallik, who has one corruption case against him and is facing two department proceedings, has been issued the notice by the government.

The sub-registrar of Dhenkanal district faced the government action as two corruption cases are under investigation and two official proceedings are going on against him.

The former chief district veterinary officer of Nuapada, Dr Trilochan Dhal has been placed under compulsory retirement as a corruption case is pending against him, the sources said.

With today’s officials, the government has issued compulsory retirement notice to 122 of its officials so far.
