Malkangiri: Four nurses were on Thursday asked to go on compulsory leave for making TikTok videos inside the District Headquarters Hospital.
The district collector asked the erring nurses to go on leave after an inquiry.
A special committee has been constituted to probe the matter and action will be taken following the probe report, the Malkangiri CDMO said.
Multiple TikTok videos of on-duty nurses have emerged on social media where they were seen performing dance sequences and lip-syncing dialogues at the hospital. Another video showed a nurse kissing and cradling a baby without gloves, while music played in the background.
The CDMO had on Thursday served a showcause notice on the nurses, asking them to respond within 24 hours.
