Bhubaneswar: As many as 58 cases were registered in Odisha in the last 24 hours for lockdown guidelines violation on Wednesday.
Altogether, 40 people for fined for not using masks outside their homes. A team from Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation collected a total penalty of Rs 8,000 from the violators, informed Zonal Deputy Commissioner (North) Pramod Prusty.
The fine for not wearing masks is Rs 200 for the first three instances of violation. Thereafter, a violator will be penalized Rs 500.
