409 New COVID-19 Cases In Odisha’s Capital City

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive cases in Bhubaneswar rose to 12,812 on Saturday with 409 new cases in the last 24 hours.

Among the new cases, 242 are quarantine and 167 local contacts which include 12 mediapesons, 6 government staffers, 4 staffers of a government hospital and 5 from a private hospital.

While 11 cases are from Chandrasekharpur and 10 from VSS Nagar, 13 cases are reported from the slum localities in the city.

On the other hand, 344 patients are cured of the infection.

With 47 deaths and 7867 recoveries, Bhubaneswar has 4886 active cases.

Out of 20,618 positive cases in Khurda districts, Bhubaneswar has 62% cases.

The city had seen the biggest spike of 580 cases on Thursday.
