42 Shops Sealed For Breaching COVID Norms In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A joint team of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials and police sealed 42 shops in the city for violating COVID-19 norms on Monday.

According to sources, the sealed units included tea stalls, mobile phone stores and liquor shops located in six zones.

Of them, 18 shops on Cuttack-Puri road and several mobile stores at Bapuji Nagar were sealed.

The team also imposed fine on the shop owners for violating COVID guidelines, the sources said.
