Bhubaneswar: The COVID toll in Odisha mounted to 3,123 on Wednesday with 43 more patients succumbing to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours.
According to Health Department sources, the fatalities have been reported from 18 districts.
Khurda saw the highest of five deaths followed by four each from Angul, Cuttack, Jharsuguda, and Sundargarh, three each from Bargarh, Balangir, and Boudh, two each from Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, and Puri and one each from Balasore, Dhenkanal, Kendrapada, Koraput, Nuapada, Rayagada, and Sambalpur.
