Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in Cuttack district surged to 2,125 on Saturday with the detection of 53 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The maximum of 43 new cases were reported from the Cuttack Municipality Corporation (CMC) jurisdiction, followed by Athagarh (3), Chowdwar (3), Nischintakoili (2), Barang (1) and Tigiria (1).
With 11 deaths and 1397 recoveries, Cuttack district has 714 active cases at present.
