Bhubaneswar: The COVID toll in Odisha touched 3346 with 44 more patients succumbing to the virus.
The Health Department sources on Monday said that the new deaths have been reported from 19 districts.
The highest fatalities of five have been reported from Khurda, followed by three each from Balasore, Bargarh, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Keonjhar, Puri, Rayagada, and Sundargarh, two each from Angul, Kalahandi, and Nayagarh and one each from Bhadrak, Balangir, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jharsuguda, and Sambalpur.
The deceased have been identified as:
1. A 38 years old Male of Angul district
2. An 80 years old Male of Angul district
3. A 39 years old Male of Balangir district
4. A 48 years old Male of Balasore district
5. A 30 years old Male of Balasore district
6. A 30 years old Male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
7. A 54 years old Female of Bargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
8. A 57 years old Female of Bargarh district
9. A 40 years old Male of Bargarh district
10. An 82 years old Male of Bhadrak district who was also suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and Asthma.
11. A 75 years old Male of Bhubaneswar.
12. A 41 years old Male of Bhubaneswar.
13. A 39 years old Male of Bhubaneswar.
14. A 65 years old Female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Chronic Kidney Disease.
15. A 70 years old Male of Cuttack district
16. A 40 years old Female of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
17. A 66 years old Male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
18. A 77 years old Female of Dhenkanal district.
19. A 52 years old Male of Ganjam district.
20. A 52 years old Female of Jagatsinghpur district.
21. A 78 years old Male of Jagatsinghpur district.
22. A 56 years old Male of Jagatsinghpur district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
23. A 36 years old Female of Jharsuguda district.
24. A 41 years old Male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Congestive Cardiac failure.
25. A 45 years old Female of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Hypothyroidism.
26. A 75 years old Female of Kendrapara district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
27. A 73 years old Female of Kendrapada district.
28. A 66 years old Female of Kendrapada district.
29. A 45 years old Female of Keonjhar district.
30. An 18 years old Male of Keonjhar district.
31. A 60 years old Male of Keonjhar district.
32. A 60 years old Male of Khurda district.
33. A 75 years old Male of Nayagarh district.
34. A 34 years old Female of Nayagarh district.
35. A 64 years old Female of Puri district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
36. A 45 years old Female of Puri district.
37. A 62 years old Male of Puri district.
38. A 30 years old Male of Rayagada district.
39. A 48 years old Male of Rayagada district.
40. A 60 years old Female of Rayagada district.
41. A 37 years old Male of Sambalpur district.
42. A 65 years old Female of Sundargarh district.
43. A 52 years old Female of Sundargarh district.
44. A 58 years old Female of Sundargarh district.
The state had reported 45 deaths the previous day and the highest-ever fatalities of 47 in a single day on Saturday. The number has shot up with the state adding pending confirmed deaths to the list after an audit by a committee set up for the purpose.
