Ghatagaon: Counting of the contributions made by devotees at Tarini Temple ended on Wednesday night. The management at Ghatagaon in Keonjhar district counted the contributions made in 12 ‘hundis’ kept at the temple premises, a report said.
The report further said that, 47.300 gm gold, 1386.630 gm silver and Rs 9,86,536 was collected from those hundis.
All the hundis kept inside and outside the temple were opened and counted in the presence of the temple trust board president Rajendra Pattanayak, members Nirmala Kumar Mohanty, Ananda Chandra Singh and temple accountant Akshaya Kumar Behera.
