4th Mining & Infra Expo Kickstarts In Bhubaneswar; Aims To Make Odisha Global Leader



Bhubaneswar: In a grand beginning of India’s largest mining exhibition, the 4th Odisha Mining and Infrastructure International Expo 2026 commenced at the Baramunda Ground in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

Organised by Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt Ltd, in partnership with Laghu Udyog Bharti, Odisha Chamber of Commerce, and IPCOL, the Expo united key stakeholders from the mining, construction, and infrastructure sectors across India and beyond.

The four-day event also aims to solidify the state’s position as a global leader in mining, innovation, and sustainable industrial growth.

The event got off to an impressive start in the presence of founder of Odia daily Sambad and former MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, CMD of KCC Soumya Ranjan Samal, president of Laghu Udyog Bharti Gopaldas Agarwal, Futurex Group Managing Director Swami Prem Anveshi, and chairman of the organising committee and former NALCO CMD Tapan Kumar Chand.

Speaking about the expo, Soumya Ranjan Patnaik said “It is encouraging to see a mining expo of this scale being organised in Bhubaneswar, providing a vital platform for technology exchange, industry collaboration, and sustainable mineral development. Swami Prem Anveshi remarked: “The expo this year is marked by robust international engagement, with pro

minent organizations from Russia, Germany, Korea, Japan, China, and Taiwan showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions. These global players are introducing next-generation equipment and services designed to redefine mining operations and infrastructure development. The exhibition has also attracted business delegations and buyers from across India and overseas, creating a dynamic platform for collaboration and long-term strategic alliances between Indian and international enterprises.”

Tapan Kumar Chand, stated “The 4th Mining and Infrastructure Expo spans over 30,000 square metres, matching the scale of leading international mining expos, and is expected to attract nearly 20,000 visitors. Our vision is to elevate this platform to global standards while promoting sustainable, pollution-free mining practices. Through this initiative, we aim to position Odisha as India’s green mining hub and a major centre for mining equipment manufacturing, while also encouraging new entrepreneurs to enter the sector.”

The Expo showcased cutting-edge mining machinery, innovative technology solutions, and a wide range of services and supplies, addressing the evolving demands of the mining and infrastructure sectors. With participation from over 300 companies, the event provided a dynamic platform to explore the latest advancements shaping the future of these industries. Prominent exhibitors included Equipage, Ocean Conveyors, Saksham Casting, Trishul Tread, Tata Hitachi, MR Crusher, JCB, Propel, KCC, HP, Vedanta, Salemymachine, UTKAL AGRO INTERNATIONAL, IREL, and many others.
