Bhubaneswar: More than 5.9 lakh students will appear the annual High
School Certificate Examination this year, Board of Secondary Education
(BSE) President Jahan Ara Begum informed on Tuesday.
“As many as 5, 67,254 students will be appearing in the regular
category while 19,737 would appear in the ex-regular category”, Begum
said.
The examination for correspondence courses will be conducted at 46
centres with a total of 3, 334 students. Similarly, the State Open
School exams will be held at 101 centres for as many as 13, 978
students, sources said.
The matriculation examination is scheduled to commence from February 23, 2018.
