Kendrapara: A 5ft-long crocodile’s carcass was recovered from Kharasrota River near Balatara ghat under Aali police limits in Kendrapara on Friday.
Residents spotted the carcass floating in the river and informed Rajnagar forest department officials, who reached the spot and seized the carcass for post-mortem. The exact reason behind the crocodile’s death is yet to be ascertained.
