5 Injured In Accident Involving Multiple Vehicles In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: At least five persons were injured in an accident involving several vehicles at the Xavier Square in Bhubaneswar on Saturday evening.

According to sources, a car first hit a good carrying auto-rickshaw from behind on the road from Saliasahi to Xavier square. On the impact of the collision, the cargo auto-rickshaw hit another auto-rickshaw carrying passengers in front of it.

Subsequently, the good carrier three-wheeler turned upside down after hitting two other cars. At least five persons including a child going in the passenger auto-rickshaw were injured and rushed to the hospital.

Palpable tension prevailed in the area as traffic movement was affected due to the accident. On getting the information, police rushed to the spot to restore normalcy.
