Nuapada/Khurda: At least five people were killed and seven injured in separate road accidents in Nuapada and Khurda districts on Tuesday.
In Nuapada, three persons died and seven others were injured when a truck collided head-on with an SUV at Kukumapuri village. The deceased and injured were natives of Ghotasara village in the district. Those injured were later admitted to Nuapada hospital for treatment.
In another incident, a woman and her sister-in law were killed while her husband sustained grievous injuries after their motorcycle was hit by a trailer at Naval Chhak in Balugaon of Khurda district. The victims were residents of Balugaon.
