Berhampur: With Ganjam emerging as the coronavirus hot spot in the State, the district administration is gearing up to open five COVID hospitals. Those will bein addition to existing hospital at Sitapali.
Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange on Sunday told the mediapersons that preparations are going on to make the hospitals operational at the earliest.
The hospitals will be equipped with adequate beds, ICU and ventilators. Adequate doctors, nurses and healthcare workers will look after the admitted patients.
The collector said he had taken feedback from health workers in this regard and their suggestions would be seriously considered.
