Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 death toll in Odisha went up to 1,744 on Tuesday with five more patients in succumbing to the disease in the last 24 hours.
Of the fresh deaths reported from three districts, three are from Puri and one each from Jagatsinghpur and Khurda districts.
The Health and Family Welfare Department identified the deceased as:
1. A 39-year-old male of Jagatsinghpur district.
2. A 68-year-old male of Khurda district.
3. A 36-year-old male of Puri district.
4. A 65-year-old female of Puri district.
5. A 78-year-old male of Puri district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension and COPD.
