Bhubaneswar: More than 50 BJP activists joined the BJD at Naveen Niwas here on Thursday.
The activists, led by senior leader of the saffron party Bishnubrata Rourtay, were inducted into the party in presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other party leaders.
The CM expressed confidence that the joining of these people would strengthen the party organisation in Odisha.
The inductees hailing from Basudevpur of Bhadrak district were working as the members of the Krushak Morcha of the saffron party.
