Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered 53% COVID-19 vaccination till 3 pm on Saturday, said Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra.
While Bhadrak district registered highest 81% cent vaccination, Sonepur had lowest 31%. Out of 300 health workers in Bhadrak, 243 have taken the vaccine. Likewise, out of 200 in Sonepur, 62 persons have been vaccinated.
Giving districtwise vaccination figure, Mohapatra informed that Angul district registered 48%, Balangir 32%, Balasore 58%, Boudh 43%, Cuttack 46%, Deogarh 34%, Dhenkanal 58%, Gajapati 61%, Ganjam 65%, Jagatsinghpur 52%, Jajpur 45%, Jharsuguda 46%, Kalahandi 54%, Kandhamal 60%, Kendrapada 44%, Keonjhar 33%, Khurda 54%, Koraput 52%, Malkangiri 65%, Mayurbhanj 61%, Nabarangpur 44%, Nayagarh 55%, Nuapada 53%, Puri 61%, Rayagada 66%, Sambalpur 45% and Sundargarh 50%.
Odisha has targeted to give vaccine to 16,347 persons on the day. Out of it, 8,675 persons have taken the vaccine till 3 pm.
