Jeypore: The COVID-19 tally in Koraput district went up to 1993 on Tuesday with overnight addition of 91 new positive cases.
According to the district administration, of the new cases, 31 are local contacts and 54 are direct contacts of previous patients. Another six had a travel history to different states.
The highest 25 cases were reported from Jeypore municipality, followed by 16 from Sunabeda municipality, 12 from Koraput municipality, nine from Bandhugaon, six from Narayanpatna, five from Koraput block, four each from Kotpad block and Pottangi, three from Boipariguda, two each from Botigumma, Kotpad NAC, and Kotpad NAC and one each from Semiliguda, Laxmipur, and Dasmantpur.
