Cuttack: The city reported 54 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours with maximum infection due to local contacts.
Of the latest cases, 16 were detected in institutional quarantine centres, and 12 in home quarantines while 26 were local contacts, according to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
There are 810 active cases in the city at present even as 68 persons have succumbed to the disease. With the day’s addition, the total COVID-19 positive cases have now reached 14,893 while 14.015 have recovered from the infection.
