Cuttack: As many as 57 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the city in the last 24 hours, according to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
Of the new cases, 19 were detected in institutional quarantine centres and 12 in home quarantines while 26 were local contacts. Among the local contacts, 4 cases were identified in CDA and 3 each in Bidanasi and Tulasipur.
With the day’s count, the total cases have gone up to 14,738 in the city. While 13,843 patients have recovered, 67 have succumbed to the disease. There are 828 active cases at present.
