Bhubaneswar: One more person tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha on Saturday, taking the affected tally to 61.
The Health and Family Welfare Department has identified him as a 58-year-old man from Balasore district.
Contact tracing and follow-up action are being carried out, it added.
No cases had been reported in the state since April 14, when five persons had tested positive for the virus, taking the total to 60.
With one more positive case and three recoveries on Saturday, Odisha now has 36 active cases. A total of 24 patients have been cured so far and 15 among them are from corona hotspot Bhubaneswar.
