Cuttack: Secretary to Chief Minister (5T) VK Pandian on Thursday visited Chandi Temple in Cuttack and held discussions with the stakeholders about its redevelopment. He also offered prayers at the temple.
Pandian was accompanied by Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani, CMC Commissioner Ananya Das, Cuttack DCP Prateek Singh, and other government officials.
Chayani informed that the temple Trustee and Endowment Inspector apprised Pandian about the existing development plan and issues related to the temple. He was also briefed about the parking, waterlogging, and other issues.
Pandian advised the collector and other officials to hold a discussion with all the stakeholders and draft a plan for the development of the Chandi Temple and submit it to the state government. The plan is likely to be finalized in a week.
