Bhubaneswar: Six BSF jawans were injured in an attack by a herd of elephants on the outskirts of Odihsa’s capital late Thursday night.
According to reports, the jawans from the 88th Battalion were undergoing training in anti-Naxal operations near Mundasahi in the Chandaka area when they were attacked by elephants.
The jawans had to fire in the air to drive away the elephants. The injured jawans were at first rushed to SOG hospital and later shifted to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.
